Lights in front bumper

Hi to all out there, can someone tell me if the front bumper lights are always fog lamps or was it an option to have them as driving/spot lights.
I've seen a pair for sale claiming to be spots. As I would need to buy the new bumper corners for my vehicle I don't want to be ripped off.

front fogs

HI mate

Sorry about the reply

You will find that the front bumper is a one piece item. However if look behind the wheel arch cover or take an headlight out you will see there are mounting brackets allready fitted to the bumper.There are two electrical plugs behind the light but i dont know if they are for the spots. I contacted my dealer soon after purchase of my vehicle to see if they can be fitted as a after market accessory and was told no. they were available to buy for around £320 including the switch which i believe as about £50 TDV6 Se Zermat. 07
