Listers of Solihull and Hunters of Derby. Feedback required
My friend is thinking about joining the Land Rover family by changing from a Merc C class and buying a new RRS. He has been to Listers in Solihull (working close by at the time) and is having a test drive with them in the next week or so but the Hunters dealership is closest to his home.
Does anyone have feedback on either dealer, both on their respective sales team customer service and perhaps more importantly their service department for annual service etc.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Taken delivery of a Disco from Hunters Derby yesterday and was pleased with the deal.
I had very good service from Lewis who was very professional sorting everything out and even delivered the car to my home for the test drive.
Unfortunately I can't comment on the service department as obviously haven't used them yet.Displaced Yorkshireman.

2nd for Hunters on the sales side. Will need to tell my friend to have a look at their service dept as he intends to keep the vehicle a few years so he will get to know them more than he will do the sales staff.

Forgot to ask on the previous reply. How long did Hunters give you the car for on the test drive? I think Listers are only giving him the test car for 2 hours which doesn't seem long on a £70K purchase and it is his first time into the LR brand.
Listers are my local dealer - bought my car from them 2nd hand about 5years ago (When it was Stratstones) and the sale was ok - service department was always good to me (Perhaps because it went in dirty from being off road!) but not used them for service for a long time - Parts department is all I use now and get a reasonable discount.
Most of the staff seem to be the same now. Always felt welcome Mark.

Stephen, they didn't leave the car with me I drove it on my own varied route for about 30 minute but I am familiar with the Land Rover brand so had a good idea what I was getting into.Displaced Yorkshireman.
