Location of the suspension connector on a LHD

Driving through snow I got the suspension failure message. First time I shut the engine off and lost the message after starting again. A bit later on starting the car I got the message again and this time I won't go away. The wheel arches are covered in snow and even in the "unwarmed" garage the car stays wet. Nothing seems wrong with the suspension, it stays at normal height. So my guess is that the connector is wet and since in this wetter it won't dry the failure message remains.
Where is this connector located on a LHD?
Anybody with another opinion?

it could also be (but not limited to)your compressor on its way out. it will give a suspension fault if the air tank is taking longer than normal to fill but will still seem normal in its operation.
