My HSE is averaging 25mpg running about which for a brand new engine I'm pleased about. I'm hoping on a run to get better particularly once its done a few miles.
Interesting what you all say about why you bought the model you did. I had to have leather and I really wanted auto. The off road navigation etc and glass roof were nice to have not need to haves, but when I looked at the price difference I convinced myself it was money well spent

Absolutely! Had to go to Daventry today, so I could have gone the 'Safe' route and taken the M6, but no, I went over the hills via Chesterfield then the M1 
Took the back roads through Sparrow Pit and Castleton, great snow, great fun.
Took the safe route home this evening, though the M6 was as bad as I've ever seen it, floods, blizzards of hail, high winds = HORRIBLE. I just love those rain sensitive wipers, very clever and keeps your mind on the road when overtaking trucks through the spray.
