Great pics Paul and Discoed .. have lived in West Yorkshire and also by the B6278 close to the reservoir...both beautiful locations
Went back up this morning with my lad to find some decent sledging & it was atrocious, literally 2-3 min after a snowplough came past the road had gone again, however I found this on the way back.....
There was an old dear came off as well so helped them both out, lady 1st though.Paul.

Nice photos, we don't get much snow here, surrounded by the Irish Sea but as I type this message it's actually snowing outside, I'm glad I came to work in the D3 this morning!!

EKJ, did the same in 2013, drove up to Kirkenes via Inari then up to the NE corner, to Slattness (midnight sun) then Nordkapp (more midnight sun), Alta then Kiruna to see the iron ore mine. Then Narvik & down the Route 17 to Mo I Rana then down through Sweden. Got similar planned this year but heading up through Central Sweden to Lake Inari, Nordkapp again then down the west coast to Narvik again. Got 2 1/2 weeks planned, just me, the music and the views. Mix of sleeping in the car, wild camping and campsites.
Can't wait.

Many thanks for the offer but will be well North of you, then cut back through Sweden on the way back. If I get within a thousand kms of Oslo I've got the map the wrong way up!!
