Loud knock/bang from front end when cornering
As in title, if I take a tight bend and the car leans there is a loud bang from the front suspension as if something is popping out of a mount, happens to the left and right. Dealer fitted Anti Roll bar shims a couple of weeks ago so I suspect a connection. Dealer now says can't look at it until after Xmas
Any ideas on the likely cause and more importantly is it likely to be dangerous???2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

You sure it's not just some grease needed on the bump stops? Sounds like a 'TWANG!' sound.Bodsys Brake Bible

Call LRA to make sure it's safe, they will check it.

I take it you don't like LRA then.
To be honest I always found them excellent. They will also help you get the dealer to look at it straight away if there is a problem and provide a car until it is fixed.

Def not lock stops as does not happen on full lock.
LRA was going to be my next call but thankfully service manager at dealer called back (after I registered my complaint) and it is in there now being looked at. Just hope it doesn't need parts etc as they have no loan cars available.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Dealer just called, turns out they forgot to tighten the Anti Roll bar lock nuts properly when the bushes were changed 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
