Lower dash removal

Hi all
Yesterday I tried to get to the back of the auxiliary 12v socket, I removed the dash surround and heater controls and the 2 screws that hold the unit in however it wouldn’t come out, I could pull it forward but not enough, now it won’t go back in properly either it seems stuck by something in the middle/lower part. I don’t want to force it as it’ll probably break.

Anyone removed this successfully Big Cry

I think I had to remove the complete centre console between seats...

That’s what I thought, my problem now is that it won go back in fully, do you know what’s behind it, I managed to pull it out about 1 inch but it stopped there and now won’t go back? Big Cry
