I replaced mine this summer. Still no problems.
Put it up in the wise with a socket to keep the distance on the u joint. Then used a hammer and small bar to hit new "marks"

So finally got around to completing this and im pleased to say it all went well as per LR3norway's appears to have done.
Few little pointers...make sure you use a socket between the 'fingers' to ensure they dont collapse when pressing in caps (guess how i know Rolling with laughter )
I ground of the insides of 'fingers' smooth to make it easier to slide the yoke in before pressing the caps together.
Other than that its pretty simple,Thanks again Gstuart for the original heads up!
Havent tested it yet as front diff is still on my bench awaiting parts!

Awesome and chuffed they actually fitted ok

Indeed , fingers crossed it all tests out ok along with saving some pennies over buying a complete column Thumbs Up
