LR hit by massive block of ice - glad its not mine

Saw this online - big block of ice hits a full fat RR in china causing significant damage, but drive not killed.
maybe some eco warrior types would think that was justice for driving such a big car and causing climate change. Me, i just think he was one unlucky dude Thumbs Up

Where did that come from?

Only thing I can think of was melting of a roof and just unlucky they were passing as it fell

Yes, but don't forget that any falling object will ultimately, given time, only fall at its Terminal Velocity.

An object falling on Earth will fall 9.81 meters per second faster every second (9.81 m/s²). As it accelerates, the drag increases, until it equals the weight. Drag also depends on the projected area. This is why things with a large projected area, such as parachutes, have a lower terminal velocity than small objects such as cannon balls.
