LR rear ladder
I have bought a LR rear ladder and see that two Rivnuts are included. I want to fit the ladder properly and so tried to buy/hire/borrow a Rivnut tool. However, no one seems to know what I'm talking about.
Can anyone please advise me of options.
TIA,

Hi Peter,
I agree with Dunc, mines fitted the same way, the rivnuts are still in the garage.
Those rear lamp guards need moding, Dunc
Did mine when I got the Bling version LED's a couple of years ago, just got Micro surgery/Chips away type guys to re texture where had cut the spars away.

I borrowed one from Bomonds in Brookvale. You can make your own with a bolt and a nut of the same thread as the riv nut. You counter rotate the but and bolt head and it will pull the riv nut. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Hi All,
Thanks for your replies.
I wouldn't be happy leaving the Rivnuts out.
I had the bolt/nut alternative in the back of my mind, but wasn't keen on using it for the reason mentioned by Navigator in one of his earlier posts: - if you don't tighten it enough, it will spin in the hole, making it less than useless. Also, as the Rivnut is Al, if you overtighten it, I may damage the thread.
Thanks Caver, I may give Bomonds a try.
Best Wishes,

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the offer, I'll keep it in mind.
Whether, I still need the tool, or not, it would be good to catch up with you, and finally get to sample some of the smokehouse produce.
