| LR Wheel brace & lock nut socket |

In short , what a dissappointment 
Fitting HSE 19's last night.On 2 nd wheel and brace snapped at the hinge.Used my 22 mm socket & wrench , was on the last nut ( lock nut) of last wheel and the bloody lock nut socket dissolved !Lucky I had a spare 
Glad I was inside my shed and not out on the road.Off to buy a decent brace at the weekend and ordering 4 normal nuts to replace the lock nuts.

Agreed, it's a piece of junk. Same happened to me (not the locking nut bit fortunately, although I do have a spare) changing from summer to winter wheels.
Bought a breaker bar and socket which fit easily under the rear of 3rd row seats next to the spare wheel release nut.
Good idea to replace the locking nuts as I'll probably lose the lock nut key soon!

Just turfed my lock nuts for normal ones . Cost me almost R700 for 4 . And I didn't even get shares in the dealership for that
