I really started paying attention after we bought our LR3 and do see a few around but its rare to see anything other than a total Mall crawler...."with shortness of breath one day closer to death"
I don't see many either in my city. I also have a '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, that was never sold in Canada, I see more of them in my daily travels than the LR.
I was in Toronto a few weeks ago however, and saw lots in the big city.

I see plenty of LR3, LR4 and RRS in the Toronto area - the closer you are to a dealer, the more likely to spot them?ikonw8

I'm in Spokane, Washington and I'd have to say that they are a somewhat rare vehicle to see going down the road. Seattle on the other hand the seem to be pretty common.
Lots and lots of Land Rovers here in Minneapolis. Multiple sightings every day. Probably because we have a dealership located here.
Posers-a-plenty with their leased, never to touch dirt, Landy's.
