LRA or AA

Just wondering which is better? Isn't LRA covered by the AA? Does that mean all AA vehicles carry LR spares? Thinking LRA as more likely to get a 4x4 loaner if needing to be recovered...?

Having used LRA a fair bit I have been less than impressed, have never seen an LRA man, AA tip up, don't seem to try as hard to effect a fix (maybe just my experience of a couple of lazy AA men), one citing "we have to take em to the dealer for fixes like this".

I have both AA and LRA and, having said the above, I use LRA as they sort out a car which you keep until your car is fixed (which has been a Disco mostly, once was a Corsa during the bad snows just after new year because all Enterprise's 4x4s were rented out) rather than the AA's 2 (or is it 3) days, although not sure if this is only if your car is in first 3yrs warranty period.

Cheers
