Punisher, many of us on here run our own businesses so don't need to be reminded about customer service. LRA used to be hopeless, now they are much, much better. I've dealt with two dealers for both sales and service and both have been brilliant, although one of them has had some flak from other members of the forum, I haven't seen the behaviours that were ascribed to said dealer so remain happy.
Lancaster Adviser was ill-advised to launch off in the way they did; by being so open about their location they have done their dealership some harm. You don't learn from customers by reading their feedback and taking issue with it so openly. Your appearance on here at a time when LancAd has said they won't post on here again has me and many others scratching chins in a "Jimmy Hill" style . As for stirring the pot then offerring protestations of femininity as a wall to hide behind? Not really an honest or robust defense of your position.
Still, if you're going to hang around, I have some ideas as to how you might help:
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Wow! I've just read this whole thread from start to finish and my dropped further and further with each post.
It has been like watching Crossroads when the plane crashed (or was that Emmerdale?). Is it me or is LA and TP spookily similar in their gramatical structure and emotion?
Anway, everyone's entitled to an opinion, but I feel Dealers (or stealers as they are affectionately referred to on occasions) should read the posts, take on board any comments, not take them personally and learn from them for the good of THEIR dealership. If a dealer can take on board the wide variety of fustrations raised on this site then this can surely only help them to be better than their competitors? If a member (customer) can be helped by a friendly post from a dealer, pointing them in the right direction then great!
Customers and dealers should be able to communicate here, but sometimes the dealers need to bite their tongue as opposed to go on the defensive.

Reading this post has prompted my first post in months but I just think it's funny that the LR dealers on here have only reinforced my beliefs.
Glad to have you back Joe 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
I can see where you are coming from. I can definately assure you that I am not LA or in any way affiliated to him. I do know my own sex and can assure you all I am not genetically mutated in any way.
I can tell you am from the same area where LA is based and have used the dealership on several occasions.
There is no reason for me to lie or hide behind anything or anyone. I just felt there needed to be another view point from both an ex LR person and customer aswell as hearing many open discussions from both sides of the fence.
BUT if thats what you want to think then that is down to you as the individual.
I am not sure if LA is still monitoring this forum but if you are - Hello Son
It appears we have reached as far as we are going to go onthis matter without accusations and muck spreading starting over again.
As several of you have pointed out I was under the impression this was a discussion and sharing site where we could talk and share our views and opinions without fear or retribution. Was I wrong
At this point I wish you all farewell.

the thing I find most amusing is the way a dealer representative chose to post on a long dead topic. Why
free exposure perhaps?
Punisher, you gave as good as you got so cut the innocence.
of course LA is still watching as are you
