Does anyone have a copy of this Technical Bulletin?
Car has had a restricted performance message, normally under throttle uphill, and LR specialist has diagnosed a nearside inlet manifold failure which appears to be covered by warranty.
Car has the full LR Extended Warranty, yet the warranty operator is now claiming that it is an inherent fault, ie a known design fault, that LR have confirmed/accepted in this LTB, and that it therefore needs a main dealer to refer it to LR who may/may not authorize the work and pay for it rather than the warranty company!
Just want to check what the LTB actually covers before going to the main dealer - bearing in mind how many LTB's there are for the D4, this seems like potentially a massive, & ever changing, gap in the coverage of what is an expensive warranty.

There are several threads about split manifold issues.
Stealer replace mine f.o.c
Some other forum members have been lucky too.
Mine had both inlet manifolds done, the first at about 6 years old then the second 6 months later. LR footed the bill entirely, I didn't have to pay a penny.
But.... I'd had the car from new, it had a full main dealer service history and had been kept under the LR extended warranty continuously after the 3 year warranty expired and was still under warranty when the manifolds cracked.
The way the dealer explained it to me was that they submit a claim to the LR extended warranty company knowing that the warranty company will formally reject it but there is an agreement between LR and the warranty company that if a failure is excluded by the warranty company on the grounds that it is a "known fault" then the dealer can forward the rejection letter to LR and LR will then foot the bill.MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - I've got used to the wonky number plate

Thanks Jon - likewise my car has been owned from new, full LR main dealer service history and the extended warranty continuously since the 3 year manufacturers warranty so it sounds as if it will just be a convoluted method of having the repair carried out!
