Madness
119 people murdered in London this year, five in last week and yet the police arrest a woman for 'bipping' her horn in a petrol station as a 'hate crime'.
Khan needs to get a grip and not just talk that "it's really hard".
Stop and serach needs to be instigated without "with suspicion" caveat.
Bleat about 'racism' but the stats talk for themselves where to target attention - feral gangs (all races) have to be 'targetted' and hard.......
Utter madness

The only way you can stop this is mandatory imprisonment for anyone carrying a bladed knife... it will soon stop then.

Maybe, but only if they think there’s a reasonable chance of getting caught.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

You would have thought that by now the technology would exist to detect knives remotely.
But then that would be violating people's 'uman rights innit' and they'd start using ceramic blades.

I do sometimes wonder where the police's priorities lie, claim they are stretched to the limit and cant investigate every crime but manage to re-investigate 30yr old murders, continue to investigate a 10 yr old disappearance on foreign soil and cordon of an area of London so they can wait and arrest a "professional" climber scaling a building. Locally they managed to find the money for posters for people to stick in their windows saying whether they welcomed trick or treaters.==================================

Apparently the woman bipping her horn was a JP in her 60s. The person she was bipping at, apart from being slow to move, happened to be black and promptly went and reported it to the police as a hate crime
As things stand the police have, they say, a legal duty to investigate if a hate crime is reported. I can only assume from the number of cases uninvestigated that they have no legal duty to investigate if someone is robbed ...

And so they should.
But it should be prioritised in that they should be investigating violence first and hurt feelings last.2014 D4 XS
