Manchester to Greece and Albania 2015
Last August we drove to Greece and came back via Albania. An excess of 4000 miles and two 22h ferries across the Adriatic see with three kids ranging 1 to 11...and a very understanding wife! A week stop over in Lefkada in a nice villa, loads of historical sites, nice food and good company provided by a family of old good friends from my hometown Rome.
After many years of adventuring motorbiking around Europe and Africa this good way to do some family introduction to adventure travelling...an extremely soft introduction. And also a way for me to take confidence with the car.

Great pics. What's with padlocking the vehicles together?
It is interesting to see how many Albanians drive UK cars...even still with the original UK plate number. We locked the cars together for extra safety!

Do it!
That was my second time in Albania. First was in 2012 by motorbike. Albanian are nice people and it is still a cheap place!
Where about in the south?

Albania
Hi Nic
My Wife, Eriola is from Korca, south east Albania about one hour from the Greek boarder. Her mother is still there with the rest of her family now living in north Greece.
Would be interesting to know what root you took.
Many thanx for you reply.
Ian
