Nope.
You can loose steering wheel controls
And the display won’t work on higher models

TBH is you question “a shot in the dark“
There is no such thing as a loom with CAN bus....
In a motor, there is a CAN bus or not. If there is.. not all electronics are “on the bus” entertainment is not always “on the CAN-bus” can even be different within a model range...
In a D3 Is it more important to know, what sub model you have... basic or HSE or something in between..
Amp under under the seat or not? That is far more important to know, than CAN “things” MOST therefore is more important
Have read with the search function, there is a lot allready written about it... as almost all new members want to change the audio head unit.. Best regards

I do not read anything about suspension here in your topic opening..
May i suggest (for your own help) that you keep your Suspension issue in the same topic..
That makes it more readable, we alltogether can help you better because it is chronological and we know your cars Suspension issues backgrounds then.. What you have done and not done, etc.
a topic with radio in the title And about CAN will give you radio answers, not suspension answers.. Best regards
