Why do these t ts waste their time, and ours, with these scams
Just in case anybody doesn't know, this is what happens when your eBay account gets hy-jacked by a low-life.
They need to give an excuse that their e-mail in-box is full so that you don't use the 'ask seller a question' button - as this would go back directly to the real account holder who, of course, knows nothing about the advert.

How many people didn't know this was a scam??
If it looks too good to be true - it probably is. BUYER BEWARE.

Don't quite understand how its a scam - its so obviously false that no one is going to buy it.
If it was nearer the correct price but, say, £2-3000 cheaper than the going rate I could see it working. Disco 5 HSE Lux

Listen carefully guys.....
The 'sellers' are not the sellers, they are also the victims. It doesn't matter if they have 100%, 50% or zero feedback. It doesn't matter if they have never sold anything before. THEY DONT KNOW ABOUT THESE ADVERTS.
DiscoStu - The sad truth is that some fools are stupid enough to be caught-out by these ba ds and hence they continue to hack eBay accounts etc.
Some would say that shows a 'kind of Darwinism' at work. I would rather it didn't exist, but Ive always been a sucker for a hard-luck story

I got scammed nastily for a phone, well my cousin in asia asked me to buy it for him, so i did, and it never showed up! guess it could have happened to anyone. I paid £130 for it, and took it as a loss..
However i filled out the paypal complaint form, and got £115 back after a short investigation they found, a hacked account, and it was so blatent what had happened... I was glad to just get some of my money back, and take the £15 as an expensive lesson in ebay usage!
Used ebay for years, first time its happened to me.. Wouldn't let it stop me though..
