Mega condensation in lights cure??
Got a lot of condensation in the lower part of one of my Xenons, pic doesn't do it justice (will get a better pic taken) so had a brainwave as it's annoying me. Anyone had this and taken the lights out, removed the sealing caps and put the unit on a radiator to heat it up and drive out the moisture?? Thought I'd plumb the experience here before trying.
Cheers

No reason why it wouldn't work Derek. There must be a gap in the seal somewhere to allow the moisture in in the first place. unless it forced its way in during all the snow you had.Bodsys Brake Bible

I sorted out one of mine by taking all the covers off (pouring out the puddle) and setting up a hairdryer on the lowest setting to push some warm, dry air through the lamp for an hour or so - seems to have done the trick.
The problem with it appeared to be that one of the O-rings had reacted with something and "grown", so it wasn't sealing the cover 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Provided the O ring is ok. remove the access cap at the back, leave it open with the lights on for while, when clear put the capback on, “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Soryy forgot you were in the 'land of the long black cloud'.
You may need to drain it forst then.
When I picked my D3 up one of the lights was like yours, dealer replaced the whole thing. Shorlty after the other one got misty and I fixed it by doing that.Putting the lights on just warms the air enough to vapourise the water, Leaving the back open just allws the damp air out. Maybe you need to get SWMBOs hairdryer out.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Don't think SWMBO has a hair dryer, might take the cover off for a few hours on drive to Marseille, assuming it's not raining.
