Memory seats - on zapper?

Hi all

Is it poss to have my seat always revert to a specific setting when i open the car, automatically.

My wife always leaves the seat either too close or too far back. If too far back, then when i unlock the car, it goes back to how she had it aka too close...i want it to automatically got to memory setting X.

TIA

Do you use same set of keys as your wife?

You can set the seats mirrors steering wheel positions to a different default for each set of keys, so if the wife using her key gets in, the steering wheel drops low, seat goes forward to touching the steering wheel and the mirrors fold away (my wife doesn’t use mirrors Confused ) then when you get in with your key, seat moves to comfortable horizontal position, steering wheel goes up and mirrors move so you can see the front door from a sleeping position, ideal for when your “just working on the car honey”

Yup!

That is the way... 2 keys, two settings!

(Meaning, wearing yours ALWAYS on you, or in your shed or likewise 8)
 Best regards

Brill...so it can b done. Yey.

Anyone remember how or do i need to dig out the manual?

PS...wife used my key (shes not worthy of having her own lol), but had manually adjusted the seat so im assuming when i re-unlock the car, it should go back to ‘as per key’ settings???

Sorry to hijack this, but does the D4 do the same? We always share one set of keys, but I'll make SWMBO use the spare set if it avoids the same problem.

Just never saw any mention of it in the user handbook.

Ah but the mind doesn't work like that, inside you will be cursing some LR engineer for deleting something that was there before but isn't now.
Sleepless nights will ensue - can I modify my D4, what parts are required, how much?????? Whistle Whistle 😁

D4 HSE has got lazy entry!- well mine has,ISTR it does need switching on with the indicator stalk settings, two keys two lots of settings including mirror dip when reversing which is better than the D3 because it reverts automatically to the last reverse setting without having to be saved and the steering column raises it you want it to.
Up to 3 sets of keys can be programmed independently. Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
