Yes, that's me and Paulo bringing up the rear in the blue D3
Strange that Don Pinnock only mentioned the other D3 driver in his article
Its all politics - the other guys were from Nando's, one of the main sponsors. We were just there so that he didn't have to drive home from Angola by himself. Paulo certainly helped a lot with translation and getting us out of dwang with his Portuguese language skills. I would have thought Don would mention that, but what the hell, we did it for fun and to help the kids, not for fame and fortune.
Maybe you need to write to Don and ask him why only one D3 was mentioned, whilst there were 2 in the pic?

Looking at the posts on the rubber issue - I am getting a bit nervous. I still have standards on my D3 and do not intend changing them until I absolutely have to (one already gone due to sidewall puncture which is now on spare).
In any test you must have a control group - so I volunteer to be the control group Saturday to test the theory - "aggressive rubber is superior to standard in mud "

Will bring recovery strap and airjack (self recovery practice) then
Any chance we can make it a bit earlier? Otherwise I will only have 1/2 hour to play
