Mileage canbus reducer
Came across this on my YouTube subscriptions. Don't understand the electronic bits but the intent of the device is worrying

Seen them on a few mechs pages recently, guy had his bmw warranty rejected as they found one on the back of his binnacle, I do not know if people realise the mileage on most vehicles is stored in more than one place.

Intriguing to say the least but because of Big Clive's simple description of CANBUS I'll be able to sleep a bit better with that knowledge.

The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)
