Miles between MOTs
Just had my big service carried out and booked it’s MOT.
Looked through the documents and noticed the grand total of 394 miles in the last 12 months
I’m seriously considering letting her go as it does no good sitting around like it is. I must say that it always starts when I need it unbelievably
Anyone else not use theirs

Don't do it ..... the minute you do, you'll regret it....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Me, couldn’t fit my present set of wheels in the baggage rack.
Mind you, SWMBO’s car’s the lucky one out of the two, it’s in the garage for the time we’re away.
Re letting mine go, I didn’t miss her (D4) at all. D3, yes, still miss her but zero energy to get another one. D4, whist it was like driving a nice shiny new D3, I never really bonded with it.

Your so right
Done it so many times in the past and always get another.
It’s such low mileage and the has dropped out of them big time that I may well let her rot with me

Total of 1000 miles in the last 4 years on my 90
Insurance for 4 years = 1000
Mots for 4 years = 180.00
Road tax for 4 years 1190.00
2.35 gbp per mile, plus fuel!

If the D4 is in pieces, or you know you’re not taking it out for a while, get it SORNed. Should save £50 or so a month.
PS Forget that, it’s one of those low tax commercial D4s so just over £20 a month. I’m not complaining as neither of us are paying car tax, and we don’t pay the TV tax either.
