misfire at 2000 rpm..

2012 Disco 4 SDV6 with 75k miles, had drivers side cracked inlet manifold replaced by local garage but when all reassembled the car had a misfire at 2000 rpm when it was driven.. revs fine when stationary. They couldn't find the fault so it's now at a local independent LR specialist.

They have the very latest diagnostic equipment which apparently has 'direct line' back to LR, however even the specialist is scratching his head at the moment about what the fault is.. they have checked fitment of new manifold, rechecked all connections, checked turbo(s) etc.. but has soon as you hit 2000 rpm while driving it still gets a very bad misfire which eventually puts it in limp mode..

Has anyone else experienced this or know what the fault could be?

Thanks in advance for any help

Injector pipes from common rail to injector ends damaged internally?
Thinking restricted fuel flow.

Thanks Lynall, the 1st garage did mention that after fitting new manifold, it did show for a short time a fuel rail fault code on their diagnostics.. I'll past that suggestion on.
