| Missing 'Black Design Pack' bits almost here... |

Got a phone call from dealer today, letting me know that they have now got most of the missing Black Design Pack bits that were missing from my car on delivery. They have the black rad grill, side vents, mirror caps, they are just short of the black LAND ROVER lettering for the bonnet. Hopefully should have them after Easter.

I assume they'll let you have the wrongly fitted bits as a momento for your troubles.

Seems to have many bits missing; my dealer said my carpet mats are still on back order as the MY13 is different from previous lots.
Don't they have new accessories ready prior to launch?

Obviously not in Australia! Mine did have its mats fitted though, so they do exist.
Having done a factory tour, the complexity of the production line at Solihull is incredible. They build D4, RRSport, and the new FFRR on the same line. With all the possible build combinations and the 'just in time' parts supply logistics to each station, mistakes are obviously occurring.
I also noticed the chaos occurring at the end of line inspection area, with vehicles everywhere, and no room to manoeuvre, the inspectors obviously have their work cut out to keep up.
I do think LR are rapidly developing a fantastic range of vehicles, but the peripheral areas of the business are often lagging behind.

Ended up with Premium seats, which I didn't order because I felt the normal leather would be more durable, and didn't get the long roof rails I ordered (ended up with short ones instead)!
I gather there is a huge demand for the FFRR; my dealer said an order now will have Feb 14 delivery!

| Missing 'Black Pack' items |

Just wondering, but can anybody with the 'Black Pack' option please confirm what lettering they have on the rear door of their disco.
I took delivery of a new 13MY XS in Orkney Grey with the 'Black Pack' option & the only lettering on the rear door is 'Discovery 4'
I would have also expected to see the 'SDV6 XS' badging in black as well.
Just like to add that the improvements over my 06 D3 HSE are simply amazing

Mine just has DISCOVERY 4 HSE LUXURY.
No mention of SDV6 3.0
I think this is how 13my is supposed to be.

del, that's what they all say  when we got out first D4 me and my sister knew nothing about it and before we got/found out i kept asking dad to get one and he always said, 'I got no money because i'm always buying for you and your sister'  and then look what showed up on the drive... a HSE D4 so wheres all that money from dad

My car has gone back to Guy Salmon for fitment of the missing bits. Got a nice new FFRR loan car whilst its in.
