Missing D3 fuel filter

Good morning all

Just completed a oil and filter change but unable to find the fuel filter (2008 model) but in it’s place roughly is a rectangle object which looks like a cooler ? Which has got 4 pipes going to it ?
If anyone can shine any light on this for me.

On your MY the fuel filter is just forward of and above the fuel tank. There is a small panel with two M6 bolts above the cross-member. Remove these and the the twist on type filter can be accessed. Pay attention to the fitting instructions, or mark the old one in relation to the housing.

The other part you refer to is the cooler.

Fit a genuine LR or Mahle filter Thumbs Up yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Thank you sir, I will have a look, I was just looking at the D4 filter as I though my D3 is nearly at the change over time to the face lift model so some changes may have already been made.

From Advanced factors , . Discovery 3 Tdv6 From VIN 7A000001 , has the later filter, VIN up to 6A will have the earlier one
