Why is it saying no such user exists when I'm trying to post a thread?
I am logged in as bigsyaub but can't post?

Which thread, it didn't happen on this one (for example).

It may be a bug related to a specific thread.

I'd assumed bigsyaub meant creating new thread rather than a post within an existing thread ... but can see he's achieved it now. Just claim you fixed something Rolling with laughter

Please remove a Jaguar Land Rover Product Brief titled '2015 MODEL YEAR DISCOVERY'.

This product brief names employees, job titles and email addresses at the top of the document. The brief also clearly states at the top that the document is not for onward distribution.

This document should not be on a public forum. Please remove it immediately.

hmmm ... i didn't spend much time on this BUT the only "2015 MODEL YEAR DISCOVERY" in a post may well be yours.

Given it's a 7 year old "thing" ... surely careers would have been affected by now ???

No idea what he’s talking about? He’s not provided a link to the post, if he really has an issue with it, he should click the red triangle on the post and report it, stating his objections. Then the moderator team has a chance of doing something!

If he can do this ‘immediately’ we can act ‘immediately’

This thread is an old thread referring to the development of the mobile site.

England 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Chawton WhiteDiscovery 3

Over the last 2 days I have been routed to what I now understand is the mobile site. (almost certainly down to me).
It's no understatement that it did not suit me. I selected the topic "Site feedback and testing" and unable, then, to see the thread to date, posted my feelings on the deficiencies of the site. After posting I was able to see that it was an old thread. Unable to edit my post, and fearing that the facilities of the main site had also been degraded, I posted a further negative comment.
Fortunately a link, provided in a post by Dean, got me to the main Disco4 site and I was then able to understand what was happening and regain access to the site and facilities I value.
I understand that the mobile site may be attractive to those paying for their data by the Mb but not for me.
Apologies to anyone confused or offended by my earlier posts.

John

Didn't see the earlier posts, so no harm done Laughing

The mobile site version does offer a way to switch straight back to the desktop version.
