Mobridge - MOST Advanced Digital & Analog Pre-Amp

Looking for a way to add aftermarket amps to a Disco4 head unit. Need pre amp RCAs before any sort of equalisation etc. I want non-processed signal from our Harmon kardon system to be amplified with multi channel aftermarket amp(s). Would prefer not using aftermarket headunits as I would like use the BT, NAV etc on same audio channels.

I have the 2011 D4 Nav unit with Harman highline (not Logic7) which looks like this:

Anyone know if this Mobridge M1000-M-DA2-LR1 will work?

The other unit I am looking at is the DVB-LR10 - not sure it has RCA preamp outputs.

Thanks

Looks like they don't do one for LR4 yet.
The M1000-M-DA1-LR1 digital pre-amp would have been ideal for me as it has a toslink digital output prior to any internal sound processing etc. But it says its only supported on the LR3 with 6cd alpine in dash.

Not that I want to spoil the party, but Question

Why do you want hifi grade kit in any vehicle ?

a) background noise
b) less than ideal acoustic environment even when stopped
c) distractions (like that cyclist on your nearside bumper)

.. mean that you really can't get full enjoyment out of it ?

Hi Brian,
Agree with your comments. Also I probably won't get the full benefit of HiFi grade kit using the OEM headunit as a source. But I have quite a lot of audio kit from my previous install and have some spare time too.

So its more of a hobby really. Also I do about 4 trips a year driving from Alsace in France to UK and we drive over. The long drives would seem less boring if I had a decent sound system. The kids use headsets with the rear entertainment system which is aftermarket Rosen units independent from the land rover system.
