Morocco 2013
Just back from nearly 3 weeks in Morocco - 2500 miles in the country alone.
Stunning place with amazing scenery - go before it all changes and modernises fully. We covered High Atlas, Anti Atlas and desert routes - approximately 50% off-road.
Some sand photos to tempt you (but there are plenty of mountains and rocky areas):

Loads more photos and details if anyone wants them.
You absolutely don't need to go with an organised company - save you money - buy some spares and just do it!
Buy Chris Scotts Overland book and follow the advice - most of it is still relevant.

I want to do Morocco and Tunisia but was wondering how much it spoils the car? Sis you get any warning lights etc due to sand? Did it get all over inside of the car and eat seals etc?

Thanks
All good and car behaved itself. The doors have double seals don't forget, some dust from leaving the windows open only. The aircon and air filters needed frequent cleaning though.
