My HSE with Piv Glass & MH towbar & Electrics came in at under 41k through sainsburys (they use freeway) Kam's provided me a potential alternative finance option that will save me another 2k over 4 years. It all adds up.
btw, Kam usually responds pretty damned quick.

hi simon,
came out with £35.9k compared with list price in excess of £40k - happy with that! Tried about five other different dealers as well as other brokers - some brokers got a bit closer - but the +ve view of Motorlogix swung it for me.
its just the wait now - got my D2 till March on a company car scheme - couldn't get out till March so the wait time is necessary (for my financial health)! Probably could have got better price if ready to move now on stock - but just can't pay for two cars at once.
This time I'm buying it for me, myself and I - and erm to put the wife, kids, stuff, etc. in.....
...and so the wait goes on...

Tim,
Sounds like a great deal...
I'm doing much the same (getting out of a company car), but it already went back, so I can move quickly.
Comming out of my company car gives me a huge amount of money to play with - apart from the cash I get, I save the tax (which was £400/month on its own) and the AMAP government contribution for the mileage I do is around £300/month.
I haven't seen any downside yet, but I guess I have the risk of anything going wrong.
cheers

Putting petrol in a diesel motor (yes, I was that person). My excuse was that BP Ultimate (petrol & diesel) are coloured blue at the pump. You'll notice that they put big lables on the hand-pump now.
Cost £5k+ on an E-Class Merc to fix...
cheers

Ordered my D4 XS through Motorlogix, great price and was called by the dealer the same afternoon. Great service and advice and no push sales tactics

They're ok but just pass on the sale to Michele at Marshalls Land Rover Peterborough. It's best to call her and save the Motorlogix fee as they don't do anything for their money.

I've taken delivery of new D4 HSE this week and very pleased with it; I have the permanent grin others have mentioned 8) .
I used motorlogix and slots is right that following early discussions once decision is made the order is passed through to Michele. However I think this misses the point, namely I was getting around 4-6.5% discount on the phone and in person at various berks/hants dealers, whereas motorlogix was over 10% even after their fee.
BTW Michele and the team at Peterborough were 1st class, I made a few changes (colour & options)
The 2 hour drive was a bonus for me !
