I've noticed round town and school run MPG creep up to 26.6 over the past 2 days. Car at 5400 miles. I was starting to worry about 24mpg. I put Tesco fuel in yesterday (forgot to look at fuel guage until things became critical) and I wonder if this is part of the change. Had been using BP fuel and occ Ultimate until yesterday. Would "summer" diesel be back and making this change or is the car now run in. I'd welcome your thoughts.

It's been a bit warmer the last couple of days, it sounds like you have gained the usual extra 2mpg with the fuel burning heater not running. Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Gone but not forgotten !!!

Having taken the motorway runs to London and the New Forest out of the equation (i.e. discovered trip reset) mine has now settled down to 20.9 Crying or Very sad Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
