MTR’s don’t make you invincible driver skill comes in to it as well but this tyre with a skilled pilot and the D3 will go places that amaze onlookers
The last thing you need in dry sand is to dig so the less aggressive the better but wet sand you need a deep pattern
One day BFG might bring a 255/60/18 in a MT pattern

265/70 17s can't be bothered to go outside now but they are either 118 or 121 load rating. (More than happy with them Very Happy )

The Kumho KL71 265/70x17 is getting very popular on D3, also in all other sizes.

Will be pumping for info on an 18" BFGoodrich MT at the offical tyre test in November.

Few cheap MT/R's left at present, call for prices. 01737 241370

For the record, the more sanitised version of events.

Lee was driving down tracks, keen to keep within the existing tracks to minimise any further damage. The tracks were deeper that ideal because of rain water washing the bottom out. Extra width of sidesteps caused problem.

but it was too good an opportunity to extract the urine. (was no mention of the guilty in the intro!) Whistle

Where do you put the spare then, as I'll bet that size doesn't fit underneath?

That size fits underneath when partly deflated. (I carry a compressor, so no problems.)
