Roughly £200 per hour.

Changing discs and pads all round recently was quoted as £1,650.

I think the going rate for all the dealers round here (Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Doncaster) is around £180 p/h incl VAT.

the 3+ scheme does save a load on that but they cut corners as i found out. Far better off with a decent indy unless your on a servicing plan or warranty restrictions.

What's amazing is that they can keep a straight face whilst quoting these sorts of prices.

An Indy was just under half that price thankfully.

Id had issues with that dealership before, so keeping a straight face isn’t a problem.

One incident stands out, when the workshop/service manager told me 6 jobs to be done on the car were done, naming them individually, a warranty job. When I collected the car. I pointed out to him five that weren’t. He was standing by the vehicle. He didn’t make comment, poker face, just took it back into the workshop.
