Quick note on apps - I'm on Android and use a simple app called Fuelly Web App that I use to enter fill-ups for my Fuelly account.

Apps are only as good as the data that's put into them. My mother uses the Roadbook app for folk's D4 and is convinced she's getting high 30s mpg, reality is she doesn't log all the fill ups and getting low 20s.
Here's what 100k worth of data looks like, now where's my geek smilie??

You've only paid £13k for 100k of miles.... How are you averaging at paying .785p/litre as well?? that s alot of tesco fuel off vouchers there FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
Test piloted a new D4 XS SDV6.. Gone and being forgotten i hope!!

I don't bother logging overseas fuel so prob 20% of the mileage doesn't have the unit cost in there. Seeing 42p/ltr from Tunisia and 89p/ltr from Andorra would be too depressing. Wish it was 79.5 p/ltr.
PS Plus a big chunk of costs missing from the beginning, ISTR just logged miles & ltrs for a bit. I just remember diesel was under 90p/ltr.
