Mud Flaps
I'm searching on line for a set of mud flaps (fore and aft) for a D4. I thought that D3 and D4 mudflaps were the same but apparently not. I'm seeing adverts for "standard" and "colour coded bumper" but indicating that they are for D3/D4. Other adverts point out that D3 and D4 are different profiles. Any experts out there who can clew me in please?

Yup, fronts will fit both D3 and D4 but as stated the profile of the bottom of the D4 rear arches is different and D3 rears dont fit.
HTHI started off with nothing and Ive still got most of it left.

No. I didnt have to drill anything? Just removed screws ,fitted flaps and refitted screws. Rears needed a bracket fitting but was included in the kit

Just fitted mine - no holes to be drilled ! First off no instructions but there's a very helpful guy on YouTube with an installation video.
Plastic matches the trim ok, fitting is easy, the fit isn't brilliant - the metal brackets might need bending a bit but overall I'm happy for the price.
You'll also need a T20 torx bit for fitting. Hope this helps Bill

i took the metal brackets out to give them a bit more flexibility. My genuine flaps on my d3 both tore after a run through a flooded ford but the replacements didn't have the metal frames and survived much longer
