MY12 Drivers Arm Rest not straight

Since I picked my XS (with Arm Rest Pack) up in late June , the Drivers arm rest has been pointing a little too much to the left, which means its very close to the centre console and not straight like the passengers side.

The MY10 D4 HSE and the MY06 D3 HSE never had this problem.

Local dealer has taken a look and fitted a new arm rest but its still not sitting straight. They have subesquently looked at all the D4s they have and found that a number of them have the arm rests pointing more to the left or right, but not straight.

They are raising a Quality Control Report with LR and awaiting advice from LR as how to resolve.

has anybody got the same problem?

maybe you havnt noticed, as it took me about a week before I realised.

+2 no issues here.

Duncan, when it is in the storage position up vertical, does that then mean there is also a large gap between the seat back and arm rest.

MY12 HSE, but with the 6 speed gearbox.
My armrests appear to point slightly out and the console lid gets very close to the armrests when opening.
I've never noticed it before, 7 months old, and it isn't a problem to me.
