MYD4 09 HSE
I had a Freelander for a couple of years and loved the car - however, with a new dog and eldelry relatives who can't drive, the FL2 didn't give us the space we needed.
Wife got an Evoque and, after whining and moaning for the best part of a year, she gave in and I got my Disco last July (but only recently joined this site hence delay in posting).
I LOVE the car. It's got a whole pile of gadgets I wouldn't spec if I was buying new - but they were already fitted, so I've got them.
Recently had a big family celebration where entire family went on holiday together - it was very nice to be able to take the aged parents plus my own children in the Disco for days out. And we managed luggage and food for 6 in the car without any hassle.
It's expensive to run, and, at 5 years old, I have to expect some problems in the future - but I still get a real thrill out of driving the car, even on short journeys.
Much as I enjoyed the FL2, the Disco really is the nicest car I've ever had - or likely to have.

Same situation as me except no dog and wife has a Fiesta!
FL2 was great but boot space was an issue and I didn't like the new DS.
Really glad I went for the Disco instead.
Also just found out I have keyless entry! Dealer did not mention it when I bought it and only realised when I tried to open door when it was locked. I thought I hadn't locked it!
Also found a detachable toe bar as well in one of the boot storage compartments!
In my defence I have only had it since Saturday. Firm not hard

I wish I had the detachable towbar - balking at the thought of paying £200 for one.....

Do I need to worry about the electrics? There are two sockets behind the bumper plate and they already work my existing lighting board from the FL2. Is there something else I need to considert?
