Mysterious hose / line bracket
Hi all,
after my 3rd engine overhaul (2X bearing seizure, 1x broken crankshaft), I somehow forgot where i removed this bracket... does anybody have an idea what it holds or where it is located please?

Looks like a heater hose clamp.
By the way, at what mileages were the engine failures?

Thank you for the answer... Where is the mounting point for the metal bracket located?
I bought the vehicle from Germany with a failed bearing issue and replaced the complete engine with the vehicle having 89.000 km. Then, at 125.000 km the crankshaft broke into 2 pieces so I decided to replace it with a forged version. At 158.000 km, I experienced another bearing failure and repaired it again (1 week ago), but decided to get rid of the car. It's just ridiculously unreliable (at least my car is). It is true that the versatility it offers is insanely good and the ride comfort and quality are superb, but in my opinion it's just not worth it.
