In the end I got a reply at lunchtime today, after a number of "chasing" emails....
Mytyres/Delticom accept that the tyres have been lost in transit, and are shipping a replacement order.
They have yet to confirm but suggested date of delivery is 5 working days hence. They probably don't count today so maybe Friday next week or Monday the week after. Fingers crossed.

I've just ordered 4 205/55/20 AT3 s from MYTYRES, £92.99 each. I hope it's not too good to be true after reading this thread.
Keep an eye on the tracking information they send you, and you should be OK.
Do please update this thread when your tyres arrive.

Quick update..revieved email last thursday informing me my tyres should probably be delivered on wednesday the 14th. on saturday whilst at work my daughter rang to tell they'd been delivered, got home that night to find 4 uniroyals in 165/70/13 on the drive, not quite what I ordered!.
The automated helpline and the human I spoke to tell me my General grabbers are still in transit and should be delivered by the 14th so I'll see what happens and deal with returning the mystery tyres then. I do hope this doesn't get complicated or turn into a game of email ping pong.

I've used Mytyres for years and they have been good up until the last order when things went to pieces... wasn't given chance to select the fitting centre by their system so then spent the best part of a week trying to cancel the order... finally managed it but never got a follow up to my emails to their management.
Ended up using BlackCircles, more expensive but a more local fitting centre... now just have to find somewhere that can supply and fit a new tyre for the caravan as (one of the four) had a slice taken out of it when I picked it up from having a service... can't prove it was them as it's been there for too long I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Just had an email saying they'll arrange collection of the wrong tyres and would I like to proceed with the original order, replied yes.
Got a feeling I'm going to end up with either 2 or 3 sets of tyres or nothing

After many emails MYTYRES have now decided the AT3s are not in stock and I will be refunded when the wrong ones they sent out have been returned. It seems to me that with this outfit the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing but what really puzzles me is how they managed to get it so wrong. How on earth do they manage to send 165/70/13 uniroyals when I ordered 255/55/20 General grabber AT3s?? Clowns.
If something seems too good to be true...
On a brighter note I'm going to have a steady drive to Nottingham where a very helpful is chap going to fit me a set this afternoon.
