Quick ask ..... tried plugging my unit into a base (spring not air suspension) D3 for a colleague but the port on the vehicle is either dead/inactive or the Nanocom is incompatible - not red LED showing on the plug when plugged in ....
Any clues if the Nanocom does not cover the very base D3 ?????

Did you simply upgrade the Nano and are using the same lead as for a D2.
If so, this will probably be the issue as had to buy a new lead for my Nano as the original lead I used on the D2 didn't work on a D3.

When I upgraded my Nanocom to use on my D3 I had to but a new cable for it to connect to the D3 at the same time.
I have never used my D2 lead on the D3 so I don't know if it will work but I guess it will not and thats why they sell a D3 lead. Dale

The D2 lead will not work for the D3, but your issue is before this. The lead has no power either due to the vehicle, or the lead. Plugging the lead into any other OBD_II complainant vehicle and seeing if the red led comes on would be the quickest way to diagnose this, or as previously suggested meter the voltage on the OBD_II. If you do use another vehicle do not attach the Nanocom, plug only the lead in.
Please advise,

Thanks for the responses ..... I have only used the Nanocom on a D3 and when plugged into my own D3 it functions fine , think the port on the other D3 is dead to be honest but will test as suggested
Once again thanks for the support , appreciated

I only have one lead that I use for my D2 + D3
The nanocom was bought to do both, so do I have a D3 lead that does both???
( if that makes sense )
I hope I don't have to buy another lead, as I stated when buying it was for both, as both program's are on it and there was never any mention of extra leads.
