Rolling with laughter

I note that they're going to use it to practice driving the rover off the skip and on to the lunar surface. Surely that's just a case of "ok, Bob, drive forward 5 feet", "done it", "well done everyone, back to mine for a party!"

How much practice does one need to drive forward in a straight line? Ah, these are Yanks we're talking about. Whistle

"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

^^^^ that's terrain testing - they've still to do a council yard and a local park beauty spot/dogging carpark to complete their capability testing

I thought the thing on my neighbour's drive was a prototype as the careful arrangement of the deposited material was so similar Whistle

They should've fitted solar panels around the edges like folk do with old doors and boards to help get more stuff in. Laughing
