Need off road all terrain or mud tyres urgently V8 HSE 19&qu |
|
I have a small problem resulting from the lack of tyres available in Australia. We have been invited to compete in the Off road camper trailer of the year awards which are held in 2 weeks at land cruiser mountain in Queensland and i cant take the disco unless i can get some off road or all terrain tyres. Otherwise I will have to take a Nissan patrol!!!
Our tire suppliers dont have any new stock available until October. I can fit 18" wheels on this vehicle.
Does anyone have any they could sell me.

If you don't have any luck, I could give a loan of a set of 19"'s fitted with MTR's. The MTR's have about 7000k on them.
I am in Brisbane. 06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.

I advertised it for $43500 but no takers. I was keen to sell it before it hit 100000kms, but thats been and gone. the patrol is a 2001 with a 6 inch lift, 35 inch tyres, 5.0 V8, diff locks, ARB bar, winch, snorkel, etc, etc. It is not ideal for 1500kms of highway driving, but great in the bush. We use it for business promotion.
Id rather take the disco, kick back with the crusie control and let the kms fly by. The patrol is a bit of a beast to drive, and the fuel bill is enormous!!

Does anyone in Perth have any new 19 inch MTRs for sale? Would be interested in buying 4 if so.

19" MTR's are expensive as hell - I had a quote from a tyre company in Perth of $575 each. D3 2005 HSE V8 model, snorkel, nudge bar, uprated tow hitch (12T), Goodyear Wrangler MTR (MT) tyres, National Luna battery box, Outback roof-rack, Takla seat covers.

Thanks to all for your response and offers. I have ordered a set of hankook 255/55/19 RH06 tyres for the expedition. They seem to have the most agressive tread out of all the highway terrain tyres available.
thanks
