Need to remove drivers door glass |
|
Drivers door glass would not go all the way up, stop 1/2 way
and go back down. Fiddled with it for a while, but could not
see an obstruction, thought it could have been a twig of
sorts stuck in the guide, seeing we were in the bush at the
time. Decided to give it a helping hand on the way up then
" CRACK " heard some plastic bits fall to the bottom of the door
and the door glass is all floppy in the guides.
Well pulled the door card off today and you can't see squat,
the whole thing is closed, pulled the speaker out and found
the problem. Front glass mount broken at the regulator, the
broken bit only comes with a new door glass, mine is still fine
and not willing to fork out the big dosh just for a cheep plastic
bit. So I need to find a way to remove the glass from the door,
I see it just clips into the regulator, but can not see any thing
of the back mount, any one done this before. D3 bullbar-spots-roof rack with spots-ladder-long range tank-swing out spare wheel carrier- upgraded tow bar-dash console-internal water tank-duel awnings-drawer system & T T.

wiggs Thanks You would'nt have seen that clip
release tool by any chance, as it must have a wedge shape
on the bottom end, to open the regulator clip and a slot in
the middle for the lock pin to slide past Thanks
again
