For the 156 I had Blackdiamond drilled and grooved discs, Ferrodo DS2000 pads, Goodridge Stainless Steel brake hoses and a strut brace for the front suspension strut towers. Absolutely transformed it for braking and eliminated the crashy ride at the front end, leaving it a lot more planted in the corners.
I do find the D3 brakes need more of a prod than I'd like, but probably getting close to replacement time on the pads after 23000 miles (auto). Will probably go OE again, but considering the RRS SC discs as a possibility when I change the pads I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

John .. Did you not put a bit of copper grease on the back of the pads ?
Wiggs, yes, smeared them in the stuff. I didn't go for Ferrodo pads though so I assumed it was just these cheapy sets bedding in. Fine now.

I also went for the cross drilled and grooved discs from Vanquish.
Has anyone got a link to ebay or contact details for them?

Been thinking of changing my discs and pads to those above but got no reply to my enquiries regarding access hole for EPB adjuster, gaurantees and general suitability for my model (06 HSE TDV6) consequently felt suspicous. Picking up on comment regarding possibilty of fitting V8 discs is this both front and rear?, is just a different mounting bracket required and utilise the existing callipers, if so does anyone know the part number for the brachet, sounds like a very sensible mod unless someone knows of potential problems with fitting to the TDV6.

Mine have been great ..covered just over 25000 miles now ( including 2 trips to Bulgaria) with no problems .
Deffinatly would go for them again ..there is hardly any brake dust deposits on the wheels .
Easy enough to fit ..front easier than the rear ,...but rears not to bad either .
Tools needed for front
