Had to have a new compressor fitted today. The warning light came on for suspension together with message saying only normal height was available. The rear would raise but the front wouldn't and then it stopped altogether.
The last one only lasted 22 months

I had the compressor go just 4 weeks out of manufacturers warranty. After a few phone calls Land Rover made a goodwill gesture and met me halfway. Cost me just over £200. Still haven't got a warranty as I get mind boggled by all the different policies out there and end up not buying one. D3 Buckingham Blue SE Auto

Make sure you have the latest suspension ECU software loaded when the compressor is replaced.

had a new one fitted last friday, suspension seems fine, if not a wee bit more comfy, that said when he starts up you can hear the compressor working, sounds worse than the previous one, also he now has the characteristic farting noise when you lock him up
had new vacuum hose, booster assembly and air inlet tube at the same time, me thinks a quick visit to the stealer tomorrow

Hey guys,
For those out of warranty, Airbagman.com.au now have half and full recon kits available for the compressor, plus replacements of much better quality than the LR item.
