No I already have two sets of the classic 6 spoke 19" D3 HSE rims. One of which has just been powder coated and shod with brand new ATR's. This set will be going on shortly.
I just want a set of 5 19" D4 rims to put back on when I sell it.

You're lucky! Right PITA.
I think I'll just keep the 20"s in the shed and buy a set of TPMS valves for the D3 rims.

Yes ... Thinking about it my next car will be a new Discovery (in 3/4 years) I'm probably better off like you keeping them in the shed till I exchange I think the dealers prefer originality ?Peter

My theory has always been that the vehicle is easier to shift if it's got unmarked wheels and good tyres on it.
In reality, I'm not sure it makes any difference if you're trading in. Does help with private sales though.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Maybe I buy these off sjn, which include TPMS valves, and we do a deal on your 20s? These are the correct style and year for your new one too

He's only got 4 for sale. As my D4 has been configured at build to include a full size spare, I'd need 5. I'd need to check the spare to confirm this, but that's the impression I get reading the manual and talking to the dealer.
The point of swapping them was for me to release some of the capital tied up in them. As I didn't really want such expensive rims just sitting in the shed.
The 5 of them are a £1,200 additional cost when specified on a new D4. So I was hoping to swap them for a set of 19" wheels and tyres from another new D4 and get back say £700, thus saving someone £500.
Happy to do a deal if we can sort something out.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Looks good.
Love those 20" wheels through time I will put them on mine. A few other things to get done first, side steps getting removed to make way for side tubes.
The more posts/threads I read the more money it's costing 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

I have to say that the rims looks better in the flesh. Hard to explain, but they look a bit more subtle, less prominent than in the photos.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
