Google shows they have a facebook page, and on that page they specifically mention the new genuine cranks?

If the cranks are genuine and new but one can’t obtain them from JLR through the normal supply chain...... did they “fall off the truck” or something? Rolling Eyes

Of course Occam’s razor would suggest that they’re not genuine only advertised as such?

Just saying, if it’s too good to be true sometimes it is.

Watton Road in Hingham is just a short track that leads to a farm, fishery and stables... nothing automotive that I can see there... very small village... but you never know...

The JPSK Motors registered address is a private house. There's a big garden & nice sized garage. Thumbs Up
Just wandered around the property on Zoopla (2016). Whistle

There are plenty of numbers stamped on the crank and even a QR code in the advert. Do these check out? I seem to remember a while back a member selling brand new D4 complete engines straight from the production line at ford!

Spain 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Causeway GreyDiscovery 3

Hello:
I see everyone very concerned about the photographs of the product that is offered on ebay.
I am going to clarify many of your concerns:

1) This product is not unknown, on the contrary it has been on sale for a long time, even on ebay it is offered at a much lower price, that is, the price of the publication is very high. It is important to be careful of the main code: It must be 9X2QBA, since 9X2QAA is also sold, of low quality.

2) Regardless of the origin of the product, it seems that I understand that it is used in the short blocks supplied by LR.

3) Regardless of its origin, this product is used for several years in repairs in Russia, by the "RUSSIAN FATHER" of these repairs: Dmitry Malofeev, who owns the company "dedmotors.ru" (apparently he also sells it ).
They have repaired nearly 1000 LR vehicles, and the most interesting thing is their "3 years or 70,000 km" warranty. This company also has a YouTube channel, where there are many videos on different LR topics.
In addition, there is a lot of information on different topics and many photographs in the Russian club lr-club.com, in which Dmitry presents himself with the pseudonym "SVERLO".
Here's something:
http://lr-club.com/index.php?showtopic=163360

4) Finally, I can tell you that the mysterious manufacturer until a while ago also manufactured the crankshaft for the 2.7 engine, of which you can still find some offers on ebay, code 4U3QAB, (it is also distinguished by similar laser codes on the head).

Regards

The product for 2.7 is sold in a wooden box that has a paper label with code LR052136, and there it says "made in UK".

In any case, the manufacturer should not worry much since it is used in repairs with a 3-year warranty

LR052136 is not a part number recognised by JLR...
