Hi all.
Just joined.
Introducing myself and have a few questions.
Me - had lots of cars inc a v8 D2 which is awesome.
A friend of mine has / had a D3 HSE 2.7 with 186k which ive just agreed to buy. It has a few issues which im hoping for help with...but i got it at a great price and know hes looked after it. Hes one of my very best buds...trusted 1000%.
Prob one - parking sensors play up randomly. He believes its the parking module. Easy enough to replace. Agree?
Prob two - eml is amber. He believes it needs an EGR ‘fix’ - a days work, inc new valves. Agree? Any advice?
Prob three - susp slowly lowers if left parked for a few days. Air leak? New compressor? Any ideas???
Prob four - if going up slight incline and on a constant throttle, theres a very faint ‘wobble’. Feels like through driveshaft kinda wobble. Goes if accelerate / decelerate or incline / decline is anything other than ‘slight’.
Other than that...very very good condition and loverly to drive so im well chuffed. And i enjoy ‘improving’ my cars so am looking forward to making it better.
