Morning All,
I'm Steve (Chappy) from south Shropshire - have been lurking on the forum for a few weeks now. The build order on my lovely new D4 Commercial went through in October, and I'm told it was built (as a regular D4) on 7th December. Now I have to wait while they do the conversion (takes two weeks) and will then be delivered to Marshalls at Peterborough. I'm hoping to get it on or around 17th Jan. Fortunately, the build order went through late enough for it to be MY2013 spec, though I don't know that it will make much difference - there's talk of an upgraded Sat Nav.
For the last few years I've had Beemers - not really very exciting, albeit good build quality and excellent mpg. However, having moved into Shropshire (from Powys) a year ago, the Beemer was quickly exposed as completely useless in winter. Having had a day's test drive in a Disco, I was really very impressed, and now I must say I'm getting EXCITED - and that doesn't happen often at my age!
I will be very interested to find out what 'Faultmate' can release on this vehicle.
